The Full Mouth Rehabilitation Under General Anesthesia Course is a 3-day course divided as follows:


– One and a half day for lectures
– Half a day for Hands-on model training
– One day for the Surgeries.


The candidate will be trained on all that he needs to be ready for the GA surgery and he will do a surgery under supervision that contains Zirconia, Bioflx and Stainless Steel crowns.

 

 

PROGRAM

 

Day 1 – Lecture


– Local & General Anesthesia in pediatric dentistry
– Steps in hospital dentistry
– Factors affecting decision taking for general anesthesia
– Recent advances in restorative dentistry in primary & permanent teeth
– Clinical updates in pulp therapy
– Rotary endodontics in primary teeth
– Case documentation
– Management of severely mutilated teeth
– Bioflex, stainless steel, zirconia pediatric crowns and youth crowns
– Guidelines for management of children with special needs.

 


Day 1 – Hands on


– Bioflex, stainless steel, zirconia pediatric crowns and youth crowns
– Rotary endodontics in primary teeth.

 


Day 2 – Clinical case


– Full mouth case treated under General anesthesia (shared between 2 candidates).

Professor für Kinderzahnheilkunde und akademische Führungspersönlichkeit in Ägypten. Full Professor für Kinderzahnheilkunde an der Faculty of Oral and Dental Medicine der Cairo University — seit 1995 ohne Unterbrechung an der Fakultät und vom Lecturer über den Associate Professor bis zum Full Professor aufgestiegen. Leiter des Department of Pediatric Dentistry an der Future University in Egypt (FUE), Kairo. Program Director der Programme Tiara Dental Training Pediatric Dentistry Attachment und MPaed-Dent-Vorbereitung, Kairo.

 

BDS, Faculty of Oral and Dental Medicine, Cairo University (1993). MSc in Pediatric Dentistry and Dental Public Health, Cairo University (1999). PhD in Pediatric Dentistry, Cairo University (2004). Aktiver Forscher mit mehr als 486 Google-Scholar-Zitationen und Publikationen zu Themen wie molar-incisor hypomineralisation (MIH), Full-Mouth-Rehabilitation unter Allgemeinanästhesie, Behandlungsplanung in der Kinderzahnheilkunde und kinderzahnärztliche Ausbildung im arabischen Raum. Betreuer zahlreicher postgradualer Master- und PhD-Arbeiten in der Kinderzahnheilkunde. Internationaler Referent zu Full-Mouth-Rehabilitation bei Kindern, Pulpentherapie, Kinderkronen (Bioflex, Edelstahl, Zirkonoxid) und Krankenhauszahnheilkunde unter Allgemeinanästhesie.

 

Präsident der Egyptian Society of Pediatric Dentistry and Children with Special Needs (ESPSN). Präsident / Vorstandsmitglied der Arabian Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (ArAPD).
