Expert level training with four of Europe’s legendary lecturers, providing unique access to their signature techniques in implantology, bone regeneration, soft tissue plastic surgery around implants, and implant-prosthetic rehabilitation. Each part of the program is held in the masters’ renowned training centers, located in some of the most beautiful cities in Europe.

 

Over four modules, you will visit the centers of Stavros Pelekanos in Athens, Istvan Urban in Budapest, Giovanni Zucchelli in Bologna, and Paulo Malo in Lisbon.

 

Each module is meticulously crafted around the masters’ proven advanced protocols, blending live surgeries, in-depth lectures, and intensive hands-on training. By the end of the training, you will return to your practice equipped with the precision, artistry, and evidence-based expertise of Europe’s finest.

— The digital incorporation in contemporary implant prosthodontics.

— Full arch implant reconstruction. From FP1 to FP3
— Fixed vs removable vs “retrievable” implant rehabilitations- Selecting the appropriate attachment and/or bar design for overdentures.


15.30-17.30 
— Treatment workflow in full arch implant cases. Ideal orientation of the occlusal plane-Facebow vs natural head position. Creating the digital patient (face hunter, plane analyzer). 

Day 2 - Hands on

— Immediate implant placement in the esthetic zone (#21) with soft tissue management. (Hands on)

Dr. Urban received his DMD degree and subsequently his MD degree from Semmelweis University School of Medicine and Dentistry (Budapest, Hungary) in 1991 and 1996. He completed a full time program in oral surgery at St. Istvan Hospital in Budapest, Hungary (1992-1996). He completed his internship program in Periodontics at UCLA. After he graduated from the Fellowship Program (1999-2000) in Implant Dentistry at Loma Linda University in Loma Linda, California, he was appointed assistant professor the following year. Dr. Urban teaches implant dentistry in the graduate program at Loma Linda University. He is licensed in the state of California (USA) and has a private practice in Budapest, Hungary. Dr. Urban received his PhD degree in Periodontlogy in 2012 at the University of Szeged, Hungary. He is currently an honorary professor at the University of Szeged. Dr. Urban is a board member of the Osteology Foundation and has published scientific articles and text book chapers on bone regeneration and soft tissue reconstructive surgery around dental implants. Recently, Dr. Urban has become an adjunct clinical associate professor at the Department of Periodontology and Oral Medicine at the Univeristy of Michigan. Dr. Urban is the author of the textbook titled Vertical and Horizontal Augmentation published by Quintessence.

Graduated from University of Bologna (1988) and awarded PhD in Medical Biotechnology from the same university (1999). Appointed Professor of Periodontology at University of Bologna in 2000, holding this position continuously for 25+ years. Pioneer and innovator of multiple surgical techniques for soft tissue reconstruction including Modified Coronally Advanced Flap, Connective Tissue Platform technique, and protocols for papilla reconstruction.

 

International authority on mucogingival esthetic surgery having lectured and performed live surgical demonstrations at major conferences worldwide. Winner of prestigious research awards: AAP Foundation-E Bud Tarrson Research Award in Oral Plastic Surgery (2006, 2008), European Federation of Periodontology Clinical Research Prize (2006), and AAP Foundation Lilly Research Award for Clinical Research (2003). Published over 130 scientific papers in peer-reviewed international journals with extensive citation record. Most cited researcher on recession coverage procedures globally.
