Programm
Modern dentistry has achieved unprecedented aesthetic results, yet functional and occlusal restoration often lags behind.
Scientific evidence now shows that the balance of muscles and the skeletal system in the stomatognathic apparatus affects the entire body. Functional disorders of the occlusion, TMJ, or masticatory muscles can produce symptoms far from the mouth—impacting the cervical spine, head, back, or pelvis—and significantly reduce a patient’s quality of life.
Led by the legend of Italian dentistry, Lorenzo Vanini—a world-renowned expert in conservative and functional dentistry and co-developer of the E.F.P. (Esthetics, Function, Posture) approach—this two-day intensive course is designed for motivated dentists seeking to master occlusion, TMJ, and posture through a holistic, evidence-based approach.
Through a combination of theory, clinical videos, and practical demonstrations, you will learn to:
— Assess, diagnose, and restore functional balance in the stomatognathic system
— Evaluate TMJ, masticatory muscles, and posture using clinical exams, imaging, muscle deprogramming, and applied kinesiology
— Plan and implement occlusal splint therapy
— Restore centric relation, vertical dimensions, and perform conservative and prosthetic rehabilitation in harmony with neuromuscular and postural balance.
This course provides a complete, step-by-step protocol in interdisciplinary functional dentistry, built on years of clinical experience and evidence-based research by the legendary Lorenzo Vaini.
