Programm

A two-day seminar with Professor Gregor Slavicek — a deep immersion into advanced splint therapy protocols, from fundamental principles to complex clinical skills.

During the course you will learn how to:


— Select the appropriate type of splint for a specific clinical situation
— Follow clinical protocols for splint fabrication
— Determine the appropriate splint wearing regimen for each patient
— Apply clinical protocols for splint adjustment
— Use splint design protocols for managing disc dislocation with reduction and without reduction (DDwR / DDwoR)
— Monitor patients undergoing splint therapy.

The training will also be valuable for clinicians who do not practice strictly within the Slavicek concept. You will receive splint therapy protocols that can be applied by functional dentists regardless of their clinical approach.

By the end of the course, you will develop a clear and structured approach to splint therapy.

Professor an der Steinbeis University Berlin, Deutschland (ernannt 2011). Gründer und CEO von OREHAB MINDS GmbH, Stuttgart, Deutschland (seit Januar 2019), ein Unternehmen fokussiert auf digitale funktionelle Diagnostik und Entwicklung fortschrittlicher Diagnosesysteme für Kaufunktion. Ehemaliger Direktor des BID (Biomedical Interdisciplinary Dentistry) Transfer Institute an der Steinbeis University Berlin (2008-2021). Spezialist für funktionelle Zahnmedizin, Gnathologie und interdisziplinäre Behandlung kraniomandibulärer Störungen. Führt Privatpraxis in Zahnmedizin im Rudolfinerhaus, Wien, Österreich, als Research Fellow mit Fokus auf klinische Studien zu kraniomandibulären Störungen, klinischer funktioneller Analyse und Okklusionsmedizin.

 

Über 40 Jahre kombinierte klinische, akademische und Forschungserfahrung in funktioneller Zahnmedizin und temporomandibulären Störungen. Experte für systematische funktionelle Analyse (SFA), Kondylographie, klinische funktionelle Analyse, Schienentherapie und vollständige okklusale Rehabilitation basierend auf dem renommierten Slavicek-Konzept, entwickelt von seinem Vater, Professor Rudolf Slavicek. Pionier bei der Entwicklung digitaler Diagnosetechnologien einschließlich Orehab Condylocomp LR System für präzise Kondylenbewegungsregistrierung und Freecorder Bluefox für digitales Kiefertracking. Forschung konzentriert sich auf TMJ-Biomechanik, Bruxismus, okklusales Design und kybernetische Ansätze für Störungen des stomatognathen Systems.

 

Ehrenmitglied der Romanian Dental and Maxillo-Facial Prosthetic Society (2019). Ehrenmitglied der Italian Association of Gnathology (AIG, 2017).
