A 4-day office course by Marco Ferrari and his team, where you will not only learn the theoretical aspects of complex dental rehabilitation, but you will also be able to consolidate the knowledge gained from the course in your dental practice.
On this course you will learn how to:
– Prepare the access cavity using traditional and innovative instruments
– Quickly locate the orifice of root canals
– Carry out mechanical preparation and irrigation of root canals
– Perform a 3D obturation of root canals
– Create a build up of endodontically treated teeth
– Work with a microscope.
Day 1
Theory
– The use of clinical microscope on endodontic treatment
– Pulp and periradicular pathologies, and endodontic emergencies: diagnosis and treatment
– Cavity access: how, techniques and instruments
– Shaping: principles and techniques using nickel-titanium instruments
– ”Simultaneous technique” using traditional and new Mtwo instruments
– Tridimensional cleaning of endodontic space: irrigants delivery devices and techniques to activate irrigants.
Hands on
– Opening and finishning of pulp chamber camera related to root canals’ access
– Shaping and cleaning.
Day 2
Theory
3D obturation of endodontic space: materials, principles and well-known and new techniques.
Hands on
The technique of continue wave condensation, Carrier Based and Single cone with Bioceramic sealer.
Day 3
Build up of endodontic treated teeth (ETT)
Theory
– Endodontic limitations
– How to restore ETT: materials and techniques, their indications, clinical procedures.
Hands on
– How to restore ETT:

Day 4
Theory
Build up of ETT inside the complex prosthodontic treatment planning (The Restorative Difficulty Evaluation System of Endodontically Treated Teeth).
Hands on and discussion of complex clinical cases

Von November 2012 bis 2018 war er Director des Department of Dental and Medical Biotechnology der University of Siena und Coordinator der Tuscan School of Dental Medicine (Florenz und Siena).
Autor von mehr als 450 peer-reviewten Publikationen in internationalen Fachzeitschriften mit Impact Factor zu Prothetik, Dentalmaterialien, adhäsiver Zementierung, Faserstiftsystemen, CAD/CAM und implantatgetragenen Restaurationen. Editor-in-Chief des Journal of Osseointegration. Associate Editor von 4 internationalen zahnmedizinischen Fachzeitschriften. Mitglied der Editorial Boards von weiteren 10 peer-reviewten Zeitschriften.
