It will be a one-of-a-kind chance to closely interact with Dr. David Sanz daily practice and his pursuit of excellence in Orthognathic Surgery and treatment protocols.
What to expect on Dr. David Sanz office course:
– performing orthognathic surgeries
– performing TMJ surgeries
– monitoring of functional rehabilitation of orthognathic surgery therapy
– analysis of clinical cases.
Practice will take place in Instituto Português da Face, Lisbon, Portugal.

Mund-Kiefer-Gesichtschirurg spezialisiert auf orthognathe Chirurgie, Kiefergelenkschirurgie und obstruktive Schlafapnoe. Mitgründer und Stammchirurg am Instituto Português da Face (IPFace), Lissabon — Portugals führendes Referenzzentrum für Kiefergelenks- und Gesichtschirurgie (mitgegründet mit Dr. David Angelo). Eingeladener Assistenzprofessor, Zahnmedizinische Fakultät, Universität Coimbra.
Über 16 Jahre progressive klinische Spezialisierung in orthognather Chirurgie, Kiefergelenksdysfunktion und Schlafapnoechirurgie. Führt das gesamte Spektrum bimaxillärer orthognather Eingriffe, segmentaler Osteotomien, Genioplastik und offener Kiefergelenkschirurgie durch, mit starkem Schwerpunkt auf 3D-virtueller chirurgischer Planung und multidisziplinärer funktioneller Rehabilitation. Regelmäßiger Instruktor in Live-Orthognathiechirurgie-Fellowship-Programmen bei IPFace — gibt besuchenden Chirurgen praktische Einblicke in seine klinischen Protokolle und Operationstechnik.
Autor und Mitautor von Artikeln in nationalen und internationalen Zeitschriften und wissenschaftlichen Kongresspräsentationen. Internationaler Referent zu orthognather Chirurgie, Kiefergelenkschirurgie und Schlafapnoe.
MD (Stomatologie/Mund-Kiefer-Gesichtschirurgie). Spezialist für Kieferchirurgie. Gründer und ehemaliger Präsident (bis März 2018), Portugiesische Gesellschaft für Kiefergelenksstörungen und Orofazialen Schmerz (SPDOF); aktueller Vizepräsident. Mitglied, Europäische Vereinigung für Kranio-Maxillo-Faziale Chirurgie (EACMFS).
