Kieferorthopäde und Leiter des Kooalldam Dental Hospital in Incheon, Südkorea, seit 2002, einer der bekanntesten multidisziplinären Zahnkliniken Koreas mit Abteilungen für alle wesentlichen klinischen Fachrichtungen. Er ist international anerkannt für seine Expertise in der MEAW-Technik, Multi-loop Edgewise Archwire, in der Kiefergelenk-orientierten kieferorthopädischen Diagnostik und im funktionellen Management von Fällen mit offenem Biss und skelettaler Diskrepanz.
Er gehörte zu den ersten Kieferorthopäden Koreas, die eine formale MEAW-Ausbildung bei Dr. Young Hee Kim absolvierten, der direkt mit der Techniklinie verbunden war, indem er den ersten MEAW-Kurs in Seoul 1993 bis 1994 besuchte. Von 2000 bis 2001 absolvierte er ein fortgeschrittenes Training zu Kiefergelenk und Okklusion bei führenden Klinikern in Österreich, Japan und den USA. Seinen PhD in Kieferorthopädie erwarb er 2006 an der Kanagawa Dental University, Japan, in der akademischen Linie von Professor Sadao Sato.
