Über 37 Jahre klinische und akademische Erfahrung in Parodontologie. Diente als Vollzeit-Fakultätsmitglied an der University of Southern California für 28 Jahre (1991-2019), erreichte Tenure-Status. Direktorin des Postdoctoral Periodontology Program an der USC (2012-2019). Vorsitzende der Parodontologie-Sektion an der USC (2003-2006). Direktorin des prestigeträchtigen Annual International USC Periodontal & Implant Symposium. Ehemalige Direktorin des Laboratory for Immunoregulation and Tissue Engineering (LITE), finanziert von National Institutes of Health. Direktorin des Comprehensive Surgical and Restorative Implant Training Program an der USC. Privatpraxis beschränkt auf Parodontologie und Implantatchirurgie in Südkalifornien.
