All the specific details and features of vertical preparation techniques in our new course "VertiPrep + the BOPT concept".
You will learn:
– the preference of burs for vertical preparation
– tooth preparation techniques with and without the finish line
– the rules for taking digital and analog impressions of VertiPrep
– to determine the finishing borders of crowns and bridges
– the protocols for placing dental implant abutments in the one-shot technique and duplicating the prosthesis
– the features of adhesion and cementation of temporary and permanent restorations.
Lektion 1.Vertical/shoulderless preparation - back to the future?!
– Indications and contraindications for vertical and horizontal preparation
– Diamond burs and prep techniques for BOPT and VertiKal
– Common mistakes in vertical preparation and how to avoid them
– Planned preparation through wax up
– Fabrication of temporaries in vivo (silicone keys, emergence profile)
– Analog and digital impression of vertiprep (fabric tray, individual tray, retraction cords, PTFE tapes, IOS)
– Where to finish margins of crowns/bridges (instruction for the dental technician, cement gap)
– Cementation of verti crowns/bridges.
