Über 54 Jahre akademische und klinische Erfahrung in Kieferorthopädie seit Eintritt in das Kanagawa Dental College als Assistant im Jahr 1971. Diente als Academic Dean der Kanagawa Dental University (2010-2014) und Academic Dean des Shonan Junior College (2011-2014). Gründete und diente als Präsident der Japanese MEAW Technique and Research Foundation (1991-2001). Internationaler Pionier in nicht-extraktiver und nicht-chirurgischer kieferorthopädischer Behandlung basierend auf Entwicklungsmechanismus der Malokklusion. Entwickelte MEAW-Technik und GEAW (Gummetal Edgewise Archwire) System, das dreidimensionale Kontrolle der Okklusionsebene, Korrektur der vertikalen Dimension und mandibuläre Repositionierung ohne Extraktionen oder Chirurgie ermöglicht. Forschungsschwerpunkt auf maxillofazialem Wachstum, Veränderungen der okklusalen vertikalen Höhe und Okklusionsebene, mandibulären Adaptationsmechanismen, Beziehung zwischen Okklusionsebenenneigung und TMJ-Störungen, und Wirksamkeit kieferorthopädischer Behandlung für TMD. Internationaler Referent, der kraniomandibuläre Kieferorthopädie weltweit seit über 40 Jahren lehrt.
