Entwickler des OCTA-Konzepts (Okklusale Architektur) zur Absicherung kieferorthopädischer und prothetischer Behandlungen durch funktionelle Okklusionsdesignprinzipien. Ehemaliger Vorsitzender der Abteilung für Okklusion und Dysfunktion und ehemaliger Vizedekan für zahnmedizinische Ausbildung an der Fakultät für Zahnmedizin der Universität Aix-Marseille.
Direktor der postgradualen Bildungsprogramme in Okklusion und CMD sowie festsitzender Prothetik an der Universität Aix-Marseille. Gastprofessor an der Donau-Universität, Österreich. Ehemaliger Präsident des Französischen Nationalen Kollegiums für Okklusodontologie (1995-1996) und der International Academy of Advanced Interdisciplinary Dentistry (iAAID).
DDS der Fakultät für Zahnmedizin, Universität Aix-Marseille (1978). Zertifikat in Anthropologie (1979) und Festsitzende Prothetik und Okklusodontologie (1980). Master-Abschluss (DSO, 1983).
