Gründer und Inhaber von Laserdontic — einer 2004 gegründeten privaten Zahnklinik in Central, Hongkong — die nach der Philosophie des MILD Concept (Minimal Invasive Laser Dentistry) arbeitet. Ausbildung im Vereinigten Königreich (University of Liverpool, BDS, 1987), dort acht Jahre berufstätig (1987–1995), danach Rückkehr nach Hongkong. Derzeit Lecturer, Faculty of Dentistry, University of Hong Kong.
Kontinuierliche Laufbahn in der Laserzahnheilkunde: führte 2007 erstmals Dentallaser in seine klinische Praxis ein; absolvierte den MSc in Lasers in Dentistry an der RWTH Aachen University, Deutschland (2011–2013); schloss den PhD in Laser Dentistry an der University of Hong Kong ab (2017–2021). Aktiver Forscher und Publizist in der Laserzahnheilkunde mit Schwerpunkt auf wellenlängenspezifischen Gewebeinteraktionen, Laser-Parodontologie, Laser-Endodontie und laserassistierten restaurativen Verfahren. Zu seinen klinischen und didaktischen Schwerpunkten zählen Anwendungen des blauen Diodenlasers (445 nm), Er:YAG und Nd:YAG in der Weichgewebschirurgie, parodontalen Behandlung, gingivalen Depigmentierung und restaurativen adjuvanten Therapie.
