Beschreibung

Mouth-body dentistry using Disclusion Time Reduction (DTR) protocols to manage muscular TMD symptoms, tooth sensitivity, posture, and airway function through T-Scan and electromyography-based occlusal analysis!

Join pioneering global researcher Dr. Robert B. Kerstein as he explores advanced protocols, supported by scientific literature, and precise techniques to alter tooth pressure forces and jaw muscle activity based on objective data obtained from T-Scan and electromyography (EMG).

During the course, you will learn in detail about:

– Complete protocols for analyzing T-Scan and EMG data
– The DTR treatment approach for managing TMD
– Protocols of occlusal adjustment with immediate complete anterior guidance development (ICAGD)
– The role of DTR in treating tooth hypersensitivity
– Physiological airway improvement without the use of an appliance
– Posture improvement with the DTR treatment approach.

Lektion 1.Introduction to Disclusion Time Reduction (DTR)

– Defining Disclusion Time Reduction (DTR)
– Literature review on T-Scan
– DTR treatment approach for managing TMD
– DTR in treating tooth hypersensitivity and airway constriction
– Digital occlusal analysis of excursive friction.

Recommended for: Orthodontists, Prosthodontists, Functional dentists, General dentists.

Lektion 2.DTR Diagnostic Multi-Bite and Excursive T-Scan and EMG Recording Techniques

– Evaluation of how T-Scan 10 measures occlusion
– Force, time, and pressure mapping accuracy with the Tekscan sensor
– Proper multi-bite recording technique
– Proper right excursive movement recording
– Closure portion of right excursive T-Scan/EMG data
– Excursive portion of right excursive T-Scan/EMG data
– Recording the right excursion disclusion time with T-Scan 10 synchronized with BioEMG
– Protocols for recording left excursion movement
– Muscle hyperactivity and canine guidance.

Recommended for: Orthodontists, Prosthodontists, Functional dentists, General dentists.

Lektion 3.The Neurophysiology of Long and Short Disclusion Time Reduction (DTR)

– High muscle flaring associated with prolonged disclusion time in restored cases
– Evaluation of abnormal spastic non-working right temporalis during left excursive movement
– Muscle flaring in implant cases opposing natural teeth
– Effects of long and short disclusion time reduction (DTR) on masticatory muscles.

Recommended for: Orthodontists, Prosthodontists, Functional dentists, General dentists.

Lektion 4.Patient Candidacy for Disclusion Time Reduction (DTR)

– Clinical indications for the application of DTR
– CBCT diagnosis of the TMJ
– Evaluation of MIP, anterior guidance, and canine guidance
– Complications and clinical findings that make the patient not readily treatable.

Recommended for: Orthodontists, Prosthodontists, Functional dentists, General dentists.

Lektion 5.Clinical Cases for the Application of Disclusion Time Reduction (DTR)

– Open canine contact and chronic facial pain case
– Digital analysis of right and left excursion movements
– Occlusal adjustment with Immediate Complete Anterior Guidance Development (ICAGD)
– DTR treatment via ICAGD
– Step-by-step analysis of clinical cases treated with DTR via ICAGD.

Recommended for: Orthodontists, Prosthodontists, Functional dentists, General dentists.

Lektion 6.Researched Patient Benefits of Disclusion Time Reduction (DTR)

– Reduction in clenching and grinding
– Physiological airway opening without the use of an appliance
– Posture improvement with the DTR treatment approach
– Improved human chewing function with DTR.

Recommended for: Orthodontists, Prosthodontists, Functional dentists, General dentists.
