Sein klinischer Schwerpunkt umfasst ästhetische und restaurative Zahnheilkunde mit Expertise in Kompositmaterialien, mikroskopischen Techniken und laserunterstützten Verfahren.
Seine langjährige kombinierte klinische und akademische Laufbahn an der AUTH begann zunächst fast 19 Jahre lang als Research Associate und setzt sich seit 2020 als Associate Professor fort. Seine Forschungsbeiträge zur dentalen Materialwissenschaft wurden mit dem Preis der Academy of Operative Dentistry, European Section, für das beste In-vitro-Forschungsposter ausgezeichnet.
Mitglied der Editorial Boards peer-reviewter zahnmedizinischer Fachzeitschriften. Internationaler Referent für restaurative Materialien und ästhetische Techniken auf Kongressen und in Fortbildungsprogrammen. Autor mehrerer Artikel in internationalen indexierten Zeitschriften.
