Diagnosticar a un paciente de ortodoncia implica evaluar una serie de aspectos clínicos y de información para determinar la naturaleza y la gravedad de la maloclusión.
El diagnostico no puede partir solo con ver los dientes del paciente, el diagnostico parte de una evaluación completa de todas las características morfo faciales del paciente es por ello por lo que debemos contemplar las siguientes evaluaciones:

  • Examen clínico
  • Evaluación facial en el plano frontal
  • Evaluación del perfil
  • Evaluación oromiofacial
  • Evaluación de la ATM
