La técnica bioprogresiva nos permite realizar movimientos dentales individuales y así disminuir los efecto colaterales que produce el arco recto, uno de ellos es el efecto montaña rusa que se produce al tener caninos ubicados en una posición alta, y al tratar de descender los caninos se genera una vestibularización del sector anterior.
Con este arco seccional podemos trasladar a cuerpo entero el canino evitando el efecto de solo inclinación de la corona y una futura recidiva y apertura del espacio.
A continuación se mostrara la confección del mismo y todas las activaciones correspondientes.
