Removal of a broken instrument with the tube technique.

Sometimes all attempts to remove a broken instrument out of the root canal fail. In this short video case I show how you can remove an instrument which is stuck in the canal using the tube technique. A capillary tip from Ultradent was used and filled with a dual-curing resin. It was placed over the fragment. After light curing and a waiting period pg about 10 minutes the resin was solid and the fragment could be removed very easily.
