– The main factors influencing the predictability of root coverage procedures according to the different patient-, procedure- and outcome-related factors;
– The main clinical scenarios depicted in the AAP Regeneration Workshop;
– Evidence-based findings on soft tissue (RC) of recession-type defects to daily clinical practice;
– Evidence-based findings to clinical practice, by presenting treatment approaches to the most common “clinical scenarios” related to gingival recession treatment;
– The influence of the keratinized tissue band on the long-term stability of results achieved by reconstructive soft tissue procedures.

Adjunct Associate Professor im Department of Periodontics an der Penn Dental Medicine, University of Pennsylvania. Sein klinischer und wissenschaftlicher Schwerpunkt umfasst parodontalplastische Chirurgie, Weichgewebs-Wurzeldeckung und evidenzbasierte Ansätze in der Implantattherapie.
Er zählt zu den meistzitierten Forschern der Parodontologie; seine 2012 und 2015 veröffentlichten Artikel gehören zu den meistzitierten im Journal of Clinical Periodontology und im Journal of Periodontology. Er ist Mitglied der Cochrane Oral Health Group und Section Editor of Clinical Research für das International Journal of Oral Implantology. Außerdem gehört er dem Editorial Board von Clinical Oral Implants Research an.
Autor von Periodontal Plastic Surgery, Springer Verlag, 2015, erschienen in Englisch, Portugiesisch und Chinesisch, sowie von Decision-Making in Dental Implantology, veröffentlicht in fünf Sprachen.
