Über 25 Jahre klinische und akademische Erfahrung in der Behandlung komplexer kieferorthopädischer Fälle unter Verwendung Mini-Schrauben-getriebener Biomechanik. Pionier bei der Demonstration des Mini-Schrauben-assistierten schnellen Gaumenexpanders (MARPE) für Erwachsene, Veröffentlichung der Meilenstein-MARPE-Studie im American Journal of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics (AJO-DO), die international umfassend zitiert wurde. Forschungsschwerpunkte sind klinische Biomechanik von TAD-Anwendungen, Nicht-Extraktionsbehandlung bei Erwachsenen, linguale kieferorthopädische Mechanik, Surgery-First-Ansätze mit TADs und Knochen-/Nahtverhaltensweisen auf kieferorthopädische Kräfte. Experte für totale Bogendistalisierung, Behandlung nicht durchgebrochener Zähne und Management hyperdivergenter Gesichtsmuster.
Ausgewählt als 2025 Kokich-Shapiro Lecturer und 2025 Nanda Lecturer, prestigeträchtige Auszeichnungen in der Kieferorthopädie. Adjunct Professor am Department of Orthodontics, University of Pennsylvania (2010-2011, 2016-2019) und Temple University (2010-2011). Visiting Scholar am Department of Biochemistry, University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine (2002-2004) und Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (2010-2011). Autor zahlreicher begutachteter Publikationen in führenden kieferorthopädischen Zeitschriften einschließlich mehrerer Titelausgaben in AJO-DO. Editorial Reviewer für AJO-DO, Angle Orthodontist, European Journal of Orthodontics, Progress in Orthodontics, Orthodontics and Craniofacial Research, Journal of Orthodontics, und Korean Journal of Orthodontics.
